When you have to talk to more than three people about a problem it means you have a big-ass fucking problem and the three people you had can’t help you. How is this EVER an okay sentiment? If you don’t get the help you need from one person, you go to another. And if you don’t get it from them, then you go to more. You keep going to people for help until you get what you need. Why the fuck did we suddenly turn into a culture that simultaneously fetishizes loneliness and sadness but also demeans and shames anybody who tries to solve those things? This is not okay, this is not ever okay. And there’s nothing wrong with wanting attention either. That is how loneliness and sadness are alleviated a lot of the time! There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be affirmed as a person, to be shown support and friendship and to be told that you’re worth something!  What a dangerous, insulting, condescending and hurtful opinion to have.
